| After breakfast you will depart for Kandy, the centre of traditional Sri Lankan culture, and home to the Kings of old. There are brief stops along the way, to visit an ancient Hindu Temple, the 8th century Nalanda Gedige - a curious hybrid of Buddhist & Hindu architecture, a Spice Garden, Batik Factory, Gem Mining & polishing Shop & also a Wood Carving factory.
